Or actually, welcome to the renewed site.
Finally we move closer to what we want this site to be: a user friendly way to find tools for your favotiry games. Therefore we have overhauled the complete site on the front-end, and also some parts in the backend.
New stuff
Please note this is not the complete scope of all the changes, just the (imo) most important/interesting ones.
Visitor functionality
- A basis for a more intuitive (I hope) navigation (key-word: basis)
- Less clutter
- Overall nicer looking site
Tool authors functionality
- Switched to a full Gutenberg setup for authoring your tools, giving you much more options for how to present your tool to visitors. Please note: at the moment only a subset of the intended blocks is activated, but we’ll roll out more blocks as the site progresses.
Coming soontm
We have a couple of things we want to implement in the near future like:
- Better search
- Better filters
- Selecting favorite tools
- Making tool lists (for organization and to share)
- Better onboarding (manuals, sign-up, etc.) for new users
- Lots of more ideas
- Selecting a game to which you’d like to limit the tool visibility (so no more minecraft wikis while searching for StarCitizen tools)
User profiles
At the moment it isn’t possible to register for an account without an invitation. But be patient! We’ll be moving closer to a public beta soon!
